The Philbrook Museum was such an elegant location for Prashanthi and Stephen’s cultural engagement session. This location has to be one of my favorite hidden spots. It’s just a little piece of Italian inspired architecture nestled in the heart of downtown Tulsa, Despite the chilly temperature and overcast skies, we made this session look warm and cozy!
Prashanthi and Stephen met through Stephen’s brother, Mike! Mike worked with Prashanthi and thought they would make the perfect match so he introduced them. Prashanthi grew up in Tulsa, OK while Stephen is from New Jersey. They both reside in New Jersey currently but plan on having their wedding in Tulsa. Stephen proposed to Prashanthi on a normal Monday morning. They have a come back ritual. He left for work, drove around the block, and then came back home, knocked on the door, and proposed when Prashanthi opened the door! How sweet is that?! Prashanthi was completely surprised!
These two were nothing but giggles, smiles, and full of love for each other the entire session. This first picture definitely depicts how Stephen cared for Prashanthi. He was concerned about how cold she was, if her feet hurt, etc. He just pined for her! It was the sweetest thing! I also loved how they incorporated Prashanthi’s culture into their session. This was such a unique, creative, and special way to document this season of their life!
I’m looking so forward to Prashanthi and Stephen’s wedding weekend extravaganza this coming Memorial Day Weekend in Tulsa, OK. That’s right, three days of wedding bliss with this awesome couple! In the meantime, enjoy these breathtaking shots of their engagement session at Philbrook Museum of Art.
