When Bobbye sent me a DM after seeing a past branding shoot and said “Meg, I think I need a branding shoot with you!” my heart leaped for joy! There is nothing more complimentary than having another creative industry leader want to work with you. I had the honor of photographing Bobbye’s gorgeous floral designs a few times in the past at styled shoots and always adored her eye for color and artistic flair. After doing research, I found out she was a photographer as well!

Bobbye owns The Carter Collective which specializes in floral design, wedding day coordination, and even photography. She creates a one stop shop collection for her couples which is literally amazing! She has such a passion and heart for her clients and her God given talent. We had so much fun spending the afternoon talking, catching up, and playing with all her props!

We did this pretty photoshoot at Rose and Salt Studio which had the perfect props, clean backdrops, and natural light! The crazy talented Amy with Amy Cakes even make a special appearance to drop a gorgeous cake for us to include in the shoot. She joined in on a couple hours of fun with us as well. When you have a few creatives in a room together, magic happens! As three entrepreneurs, artists, and mothers, we could have spent all day chatting and laughing about life together!

These days are what makes this career so inspiring and enjoyable. I’m so thankful I met Bobbye and Amy and can’t wait to keep cheering them on in life and with their businesses! That’s what this creative industry is all about! Creating relationships, supporting each other, and celebrating all the achievements together!
