The View at Hillside Barn was such a picturesque location for this sweet engagement session. Brian and Kelsey had to reschedule their session a few times due to the pandemic, so it was so exciting to finally be able to shoot these for them. This playful duo was full of laughter, snuggles, and heart eyes for each other throughout the entire session. We had a perfectly cool summer day with the most gorgeous sunset!
Brian and Kelsey met on Bumble! They went on a date the next day to Whataburger and it was the best first date. I totally connected with them on this because my husband and I also met online and had our first date at Whataburger! What are the odds!?
Kelsey is from Oklahoma while Brian is from Texas. They both lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico while finishing up grad school, but have recently moved to Oklahoma. Kelsey just recently graduated from PA School while Brian landed a job earlier this year for an accounting firm in Tulsa. These two are definitely an ambitious couple!
Brian planned the proposal months in advance and had all Kelsey’s family there along with her best friend for the surprise. I love when family and friends are involved with the proposal! It was on the first day of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and he had arranged for them to get to fly in one of the hot air balloons after he proposed! Unfortunately, it was too foggy to fly but they were still able to get some amazing photos! I just love this romantic proposal story!
I can’t wait to capture Kelsey and Brian’s outdoor summer wedding at The View at Hillside Barn this July. I hope you enjoy my favorite shots from their engagement session!
