Scottish Rite Temple | Oklahoma Wedding Photographer {Heather + Tyler}
This wedding day was one I had been looking forward to all year. Heather and Tyler chose the most perfect venue for their wedding day, The Scottish Rite Temple in Guthrie. The gorgeous architecture alone had me so excited to shoot this day! Mix in a wonderful, lovey dovey couple and I’m in photography heaven! You may remember these two from their engagement session this past summer at the Oklahoma City Capitol! One of the most unique sessions I’ve ever shot and I LOVED it!
These two sweet souls said their vows on October 26th, 2019 in front of ALL of their friends and families. The weather couldn’t be more perfect, a crisp fall day! Heather’s layered, tapered gown from Prescott Bridal was absolutely STUNNING while Tyler looked so sharp in his navy blue suit. The shades of pinks, maroons, ivories, golds, and greens spoke my love language. I can’t get enough of the pinks y’all!
One of my favorite moments from the wedding day was when Heather and Tyler gifted their parents a sweet surprise. The emotions that were felt and shown were so memorable and these are the moments that are unique and special to witness as a photographer. I also of course LOVED the first look between Heather and Tyler. These two both got a bit emotional and the joyful tears were so beautiful to see!
Let me just say, the creative team did a PHENOMENAL job with this wedding! Every single detail looked amazing and so chic. It complimented the architecture and Heather’s aesthetic so well! The gorgeous ceremony took place on the outdoor steps of the temple and was absolutely breathtaking!
The evening ended with a wonderful cocktail hour and reception inside the Temple! You must scroll down to see all of the amazing details! The reception was a hit with an exciting live band and lots of fun guests! These two ended the night with a dramatic sparkler exit down the steps and then left the night in their getaway car! The guests came back to enjoy one of my FAV
ORITE details from the day! A donut and milk bar… y’all this was adorable and the guests loved it for a late night snack! Heather really thought of everything when she was planning this wedding and it definitely shows!
It was so special to be a part of this beautiful day and to call these two new friends of mine! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Powell!
