This downtown Oklahoma City engagement session was absolutely darling! It’s so fun shooting in my old stomping grounds! Also, Megan and Brycen are just the cutest pair! I barely had to instruct these two, they just posed and interacted so naturally together! Even though it was a 110 degree heat index outside, these two handled it like it was nothing!

These two met during their freshman year at the University of Oklahoma and have been dating for the past four and a half years. Their relationship started out as just close friends and grew into something much more! Brycen proposed to Megan this past December at the Myriad Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City. Since Megan actually lives downtown, they walk around the city often and the gardens is one place that is one of their go to’s for a date! So it was only fitting that we started their engagement session at the same spot! The lush green and pretty blooms really made their session warm and beautiful!

I had way too many favorite moments during this session to choose just one! I think just seeing these two laugh at each other when I posed them was the sweetest thing! It made for some even better shots! That’s what I want when I’m shooting couples, those in between, reactive moments! Those are the best, so true and authentic!

After the gardens, we moved to a local parking garage overlooking the city! It was amazing!! I had such a fun night getting to know these two better and can’t wait to capture them saying their vows next June at The Springs in Norman! Congrats on your engagement Megan and Brycen!
