I always enjoy a Turner Falls engagement session! Especially when my couple is as sweet as these two! Dawn and Jimmy’s love story is so romantic! They were high school sweethearts but had parted ways after graduation to pursue future careers. Several years down the road, they found their way back to each other! These two put a smile on my face during their entire session… I could instantly feel their chemistry and love for each other! They were just smitten! Their love truly shines throughout all of these images!

Jimmy proposed to Dawn on Christmas Day in front of her family! He popped the question during family pictures so the proposal was all caught on camera! Talk about perfect timing! Nice job Jimmy! I also love Dawns timeless ring! So classy and elegant!

Dawn and Jimmy chose to do their engagement session at Turner Falls in Davis, Oklahoma! If you’re looking for a magical place to do your engagements, this is definitely a top contender! Even though it was quite chilly, we had the entire park to ourselves! I love when this happens, because it really allows my couples to relax and be themselves without having to worry about nerves of others watching! We started our shoot at the beautiful waterfalls, found a charming castle, and ended with a breathtaking overview of the entire park! My favorite part of their shoot was when Jimmy carried Dawn across the flooded bridge to change into their next outfits. He didn’t even hesitate to put his bare feet into the cold water and he did it with the biggest smile on his face! What a man!
